The OnePlus 15 launch is just around the corner. While anticipation for the new flagship phone is at an all-time high already, the brand has been adding to it by revealing one key detail at a time. The latest one arrives in the form of the smartphone's display.
OnePlus 15 will feature a BOE X3 OLED display with 165 Hz refresh rate
The official OnePlus Weibo account has revealed that the brand will use the new third-generation BOE X3 OLED display panel to feature on the OnePlus 15. This makes the third OnePlus flagship to feature a BOE vendor display, since the OnePlus 12 back in 2024.
Paired with the already confirmed OnePlus 15 refresh rate of 165 Hz, the panel is said to unlock a host of flagship features. For instance, the X3 OLED panel will bring a 13% high brightness level improvement over the OnePlus 13. It could even be able to achieve 6,000 nits of peak brightness.

Moreover, in a separate Weibo post, OnePlus has also mentioned 1 nit of low brightness with the OnePlus 15. This is said to reduce eye strain with lower fatigue, reduced blue light emission and comfortable visibility in low light conditions.

Apart from this, OnePlus 15 will make use of a new Display P3 chipset on the inside, which will work in tandem with the BOE X3 panel to deliver up to three times more picture brightness than the current industry average. It is also said to bring the industry's shortest single-row pixel charging time at 1.3 microseconds.

Aside from the display details, a lot of other OnePlus 15 specs are out as well. For instance, a recent OnePlus 15 battery and charging leak has revealed a 7,300mAh capacity for the phone. It is even said to bring 120W fast USB-C charging support and 50W wireless charging.
