The first official OnePlus 15R launch teaser is here, just days after the global unveiling of the brand's flagship OnePlus 15. The teaser confirms the imminent arrival of the OnePlus 15R in India, while also confirming its design.
OnePlus 15R India launch could happen next month
OnePlus has partnered with Amazon for the OnePlus 15R's landing page, giving us a glimpse at the phone's design. The image on the landing page is accompanied by the tagline "Power On. Limits Off" with the text Coming Soon, suggesting the smartphone could soon arrive in India.

The teaser reveals the phone in Black and Green colourways with a metal frame. The Plus key is visible on the left side of the phone. On a closer look, the OnePlus 15R could mark a departure from triple-rear cameras on the OnePlus 13R to a dual-rear system.
The camera setup could consist of a 50 MP primary snapper coupled with an 8 MP ultrawide unit. For selfies, there could be a 32 MP snapper at the front. Speaking of which, the camera module and design are expected to be similar to the OnePlus 15.

Besides, the page also contains a post of OxygenOS 16, suggesting that the OnePlus 15R will run OxygenOS 16 features out of the box. As for the specifications, the phone is expected to boast a 6.83-inch 1.5K AMOLED display with a 165Hz refresh rate.
Performance-wise, it could arrive with either the Snapdragon 8 Elite or the Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5. Powering the internals could be a massive 8,000mAh battery with 100W SuperVOOC charging. The OnePlus 15R is expected to be based on China's OnePlus Ace 6T.
The OnePlus 15R is expected to launch in India in December 2025, but the exact launch date is unknown. More information about the phone should be unveiled as we get closer to the launch.
