After making the OnePlus 15 official in India, it is now time for the OnePlus 15R to arrive in the country. The brand has already confirmed most of its details as well as the launch date of the phone. Ahead of that, its Geekbench listing has surfaced online.
OnePlus 15R with Snapdragon 8 Gen 5 is incoming
Spotted by tipster @Anvin on X, the upcoming OnePlus 15R has been listed on the Geekbench benchmarking platform with the OnePlus CPH2767 SKU. The smartphone has managed to score 2,784 points in the single-core test, while hitting 9,329 points in the multi-core test. Other details confirm the presence of 12 GB RAM and Android 16.

As for the processor, the listing mentions an octa-core chipset with 6 cores clocked at 3.32 GHz and 2 cores clocked at 3.80 GHz. Given how familiar the CPU architecture is, there is no doubt that the SoC used here is the Snapdragon 8 Gen 5 chipset with the Adreno 840 GPU.
This doesn't come as a surprise since the OnePlus 15R processor was already confirmed to be the Snapdragon 8 Gen 5 a few days ago. OnePlus claims that it is going to be India's first phone to bring the new Qualcomm SoC.

Moreover, with the OnePlus Ace 6T China launch, the brand did manage to launch the world's first phone with the Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 chipset. This is the same smartphone which is launching in India and the global markets as the OnePlus 15R. Hence, expect the 15R in India to feature the following specs:
- 6.83-inch 1.5K 165 Hz AMOLED display
- Snapdragon 8 Gen 5 processor
- Touch Response Chip and G2 Wi-Fi Chip
- 50 MP Sony IMX906 main camera and 8 MP ultra-wide angle lens
- 16 MP selfie camera
- 8,000mAh battery with 100W fast USB-C charging
- Android 16-based ColorOS 16
- IP66 + IP68 + IP69 + IP69K
That said, since the OnePlus 15R India launch is set for December 17, 2025, we will learn shortly what the country's first 8 Gen 5 phone has to offer. Also, OnePlus is holding a OnePlus Community Bengaluru Keynote event on the same day. So, if you are interested in that, register for the same.
