Oppo made the Find X9 series official in India today and these are the first phones in the country to ship with the latest ColorOS 16 update out of the box. Now, the brand has also shared the official rollout timeline for all the other eligible smartphones in the country.
ColorOS 16 will start rolling out in Q4 2025
At the Find X9 series launch event, Oppo shared a list of all the ColorOS 16 eligible devices and when they can expect the new Android 16-based OS skin. As per the roadmap, the Find X8 Pro is the first smartphone in the country to receive the update in November 2025.

As for the global markets, the Oppo Find N5 foldable will become the first folding phone to receive ColorOS 16. It will also get the update in November 2025 itself. Afterwards, the rollout will expand to more devices, including the Reno 14 series and the Oppo Pad 3 Pro Android tablet.
From December 2025 onwards, all the eligible mid-range smartphones like the Oppo K13 Turbo series and the Oppo F31 5G series will start receiving the latest ColorOS 16 update.

Oppo says that the ColorOS 16 "stable update will roll out gradually, in batches". So, even if any of the eligible devices didn't receive the update now, they will surely get it in a few days. Users are urged not to worry about it.
With ColorOS 16, Oppo smartphones can now enjoy a new Luminous Rendering Engine for smoother and fluid animations, Light Field Design for a translucent glass-like look, updated iconography, full-screen AOD, Flux Home Screen and more. There are also new AI features with dedicated O+ Connect connectivity options for ecosystem benefits.
