The much anticipated Oppo Find X9 series is launching in China next month. However, there is no official word yet regarding the lineup's launch in India. Now, a new leak has revealed that it might happen sooner than expected.
Tipster Anir Chakraborty on X has revealed that the Oppo Find X9 has been listed under the BIS certification website in India. It has appeared with the model number CPH2791 and shows September 19, 2025, as the date of listing.
For those who are unaware, the BIS or the Bureau of Indian Standards is the statutory body of India, which the Government of India has set up to standardise, mark, qualify and certify goods and services before their official arrival in the country.
Hence, the appearance of the Find X9 on the BIS website means that Oppo is already working to bring the Find X9 lineup to India at the earliest. The Find X9 series China launch has been set for October 16, 2025. So, we can expect an official India launch date announcement to follow thereafter.
Oppo Find X9 design and core details
Earlier this week, Oppo's Find series Product Manager, Zhou Yibao gave us our first complete look at the upcoming Find X9. It showed off a velvet sanded back glass panel with a cold carved camera deco, to create a seamless transition between the camera island and the back panel.
It also features a brushed aluminium mid-frame with rounded edges and a flat profile. The camera deco is also home to the Hasselblad camera branding and a colour spectrum sensor.
Just like the Oppo Find X8, the Find X9 this year is also going to bring a compact 6.59-inch display with a Tianma OLED panel. The Find X9 bezels will also be super sleek, thanks to the brand using LIPO technology this time around.
Other that that, the Find X9 will also bring Danxia Colour Restoration Lens along with a 7,000+mAh battery inside. Performance-wise, it will depend on the now official MediaTek Dimensity 9500 processor.
Apart from this, we expect the smartphone to feature a 50 MP Sony LYT-808 main sensor, a 50 MP Samsung JN5 ultra-wide angle lens and a 50 MP Samsung JN9 3x periscope camera.
