Oppo's next top-level flagship, the Find X9 Ultra, is all set to launch this month in China. Ahead of it, the phone has surfaced in a detailed leak via a China Telecom listing, revealing key specifications, design, and more. Although this listing has been taken down, reliable tipster Anvin shared all the details on X. This gives us one of the clearest looks yet at what Oppo is preparing for its Ultra flagship.
Oppo Find X9 Ultra Design Leaked
While the Oppo Find X9 Ultra live images leaked earlier this month, we just got a good look at the back panel of the phone. The latest leaked images showcase the phone in all its glory in an orange colourway, which has sand dune-like textures running across.
Another key thing to note here is that the camera cutout inside the module is not exactly circular, like the one we see on the Oppo Find X8 Ultra. Instead, it's more of a rounded-off hexagon. Apart from that, we see two dedicated speaker grilles - one at the top and the other at the bottom.

The bottom portion also houses the USB-C port alongside three microphones (one on the camera module if you look closely) and the SIM card tray. Meanwhile, the top portion of the frame is home to another microphone.
Apart from that, there's the power button, volume rockers and camera control panel on the right side of the frame, while the left side houses the Plus Key. Apart from this, the tipster reveals that the Oppo Find X9 Ultra will arrive in the Glacier Ice, Desert Silver and Earth Brown colour options.
However, we don't know if Earth Brown is the orange colourway showcased or if it will be a separate option altogether. Meanwhile, the Desert Silver option could be the black + silver option that appeared in the wild earlier.
Oppo Find X9 Ultra Specifications Leaked
Thanks to the telecom listing, we also get to know the Find X9 Ultra specifications in detail. For starters, the Ultra flagship is said to feature a 6.78-inch 2K 144 Hz AMOLED display, with an ultrasonic in-display fingerprint scanner.
As for the design, the phone is said to measure 163.04 x 76.91 x 9.15mm and weigh about 238 grams. Just like its predecessor, the Find X9 Ultra is said to offer stellar durability with an IP68 + IP69 rating.
Under the hood, the phone is tipped to be powered by the Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 chipset, paired with up to 16 GB LPDDR5X RAM and 1 TB UFS 4.1 storage. On the software front, the phone could run on Android 16-based ColorOS 16.
On the optics front, the Oppo Find X9 Ultra could sport a 200 MP Sony LYT-901 primary rear camera sensor, a 200 MP OmniVision OV52A 3x periscope telephoto, a 50 MP Samsung JNL 3x periscope telephoto and a 50 MP ultra-wide, all tuned by Hasselblad. At the front, the phone may pack a 50 MP selfie shooter. As expected, the phone is also said to come with support for a 300mm Hasselblad Teleconverter Kit.

Well, the official Oppo X handle has already confirmed the Hasselblad-branded 200 MP ultra-sensing main camera, with an apparent 10% improvement in light intake compared to the Find X8 Ultra. The 50 MP periscope telephoto is also confirmed to arrive with 10x optical zoom and a focal length equivalent of about 230mm. Meanwhile, the other 200 MP periscope camera is confirmed to offer a 36% increase in light intake.
Fueling it all could be a big 7,050mAh battery with 100W fast wired charging and 50W wireless charging support.
For now, this is all that we know about the phone. However, since the Oppo Find X9 Ultra launch date in China is confirmed for April 21, 2026, we won't have to wait long to know all the confirmed details. Meanwhile, expect more details to surface in the coming days.
