Oppo Find X9s May Feature a Massive 7,000mAh Battery and Dual 200 MP Cameras

2025 saw the rise of compact flagships more than ever, and 2026 could be when brands refine them further and dial specifications to eleven. Oppo could be the one to kickstart it with its upcoming Find X9s, which has already leaked on countless occasions. The latest leak about the phone suggests a large battery while confirming a previous camera leak.

Oppo Find X9s could be a compact battery monster

According to Digital Chat Station on Weibo, the upcoming "small screen" flagship, widely believed to be the Find X9s, could feature a 7,000mAh battery. This could make it the only compact smartphone in the segment to touch this battery ceiling. Complementing the large battery could be a rumoured 100W fast charging support.

Beyond battery, and as per the previous Find X9s leaks, the phone could also be the first compact offering to feature dual 200 MP cameras. It is expected to boast a large 200 MP main sensor, a second 200 MP periscope telephoto and a 50 MP ultrawide sensor.

DCS also notes that the early prototype of the smartphone features an ultrasonic under-display fingerprint sensor and quick wireless charging. To top it off, the smartphone could boast an IP68/69 rating for protection against dust and water.

For those unaware, Oppo has already started teasing the smartphone. The brand unveiled at the MediaTek Tech Day event that it will be powered by the flagship Dimensity 9500s chipset and will be launching in India. The same chipset will also be powering the Poco X8 Pro Max.

Besides the processor and cameras, the smartphone is expected to ship with 12 GB RAM and up to 512 GB storage, and with ColorOS 16 features out of the box. The selling point of the smartphone will be its compact 6.3-inch 1.5K 120 Hz LTPO AMOLED display.

While we don't have any concrete launch information about the Find X9s, rumours point to a Q2 2026 launch in April 2026. However, more information about the launch date and specifications should be revealed as we inch closer to launch, so stay tuned!
