Less than a month into its India debut in September, the Oppo K14 Plus has now become significantly more expensive. In an unsurprising move, Oppo has quietly revised the prices of the devices across its storage variants.
Spotted first by Gadgets360, the base Oppo K14 Plus with 6 GB RAM and 128 GB storage now costs Rs 32,999 (up from Rs 29,999). That's a steep price bump of Rs 3,000. The mid-tier 8 GB + 128 GB variant sees a Rs 4,000 jump to land at Rs 36,999 (previously Rs 32,999).

Finally, the top-of-the-line 8 GB + 256 GB model takes the biggest hit, with a Rs 5,000 increase that brings its new retail price to a hefty Rs 40,999 (up from Rs 35,999). These updated prices are already live on the Oppo India online storefront and Flipkart.
For those unaware, the Oppo K14 Plus is geared towards budget gamers seeking a value-for-money offering. It is powered by the Dimensity 7360 Max processor and combines LPDDR4X memory with UFS 3.1 storage.
The display is a bright 6.77-inch FHD+ AMOLED unit pushing a 144 Hz refresh rate, all powered by an enormous 8,000mAh battery with 45W fast charging. Optics-wise, the phone houses a 50 MP main snapper coupled with a 2 MP monochrome lens and a 16 MP front-facing snapper.

The Reno 14 Plus isn't the only Oppo phone that got a price increase this week. Oppo has also hiked the Reno 16's price by a whopping Rs 7,000 across storage variants. This is the second recorded price increase for the smartphone, and the same could happen with the K14 Plus in the future.
With Samsung and Apple cutting down on smartphone production, the ongoing RAM crisis is currently painting a grim picture of the market. Smartphones are about to get even more expensive, so keep an eye out on our smartphone price tracker to stay updated.
