Oppo Reno 15 Launched in India with Snapdragon 7 Gen 4

Oppo has launched its latest Reno 15 series, and it consists of three smartphones – Reno 15, Reno 15 Pro, and the new compact Reno 15 Pro Mini. They are geared toward delivering great cameras at a price that falls in the upper mid-range tier. The standard Reno 15 5G is the entry point, and it offers most of what the Reno 15 Pro offers but at an affordable price tag.

The main selling points of the Reno 15 are its design. Oppo claims it features the first HoloFusion texture. The unique back design is complemented by a 6.59-inch 3D curved 120 Hz FHD+ AMOLED display at the front with minimal bezels, which makes the phone look great from all angles.

The display boasts a maximum brightness of 3,600 nits. The phone is built out of an aerospace-grade aluminium frame and boasts an IP69 rating for protection against dust and water. The front itself is protected by Corning Gorilla Glass 7i.

At its heart, the Reno 15 5G boasts a Snapdragon 7 Gen 4 SoC, paired with up to 512 GB of UFS 3.1 storage and 12 GB of LPDDR5X RAM.

The back houses a triple-camera setup, and unlike the previous generation, which reserved the best cameras for the Pro models, the standard model breaks that trend by offering a 50 MP main camera. Then there's the 50 MP telephoto lens with 3.5x zoom and an 8 MP ultrawide lens. The phone houses a 50 MP wide snapper at the front.

Powering the smartphone is a 6,500mAh silicon-carbon battery with 80W fast charging. The smartphone runs ColorOS 16 features based on Android 16 out of the box, and Oppo promises five years of Android updates and six years of security patches.

Other features include an in-display optical fingerprint scanner and stereo speakers. Connectivity-wise, the phone boasts Wi-Fi 6, Bluetooth 5.4, USB 2.0 Type-C and NFC for wireless payments.

As for the availability, the Reno 15 5G will be available in three storage variants: 8 GB + 128 GB, 12 GB + 256 GB and 12 GB + 512 GB. There are three colours on offer – Aurora Blue, Twilight Blue and Aurora White. The base variant starts from Rs 39,999 and goes all the way up to Rs 49,999 for the top variant.

The Reno 15 5G will be available on Amazon, Flipkart and the official Oppo website and goes on sale starting January 13, 2026.
