The Oppo Reno 16 series launched in China earlier this year and now, the brand has expanded it to global markets. However, this time around, the lineup adds the Oppo Reno 16 F and Reno 16 FS, alongside the Reno 16 and Reno 16 Pro. Both phones share almost identical hardware, with the main difference being their storage configurations.
Oppo Reno 16 F and Reno 16 FS Specifications
While the Reno 16 F comes with 8 GB of RAM and 256 GB of storage, the Reno 16 FS gets 8 GB of RAM and 512 GB of storage. Besides, while the Reno 16 F arrives in Twilight Violet colourway, the Reno 16 FS misses out on the same.
However, both the Oppo phones share the hero "Pop white" colour, which the brand says uses its signature 3D Pop design. It uses a dual-layer optical structure and a microlens array to generate a stereoscopic, floating planet effect inspired by the cosmos.
That said, the smartphones feature a 6.57-inch FHD+ 120 Hz AMOLED display with a peak brightness rating of 1400 nits and a 397 PPI pixel density. Optics-wise, both phones feature a 50 MP main camera, a 50 MP telephoto lens and an 8 MP ultrawide lens, alongside a 50 MP front camera for selfies.
Under the hood, both the Oppo Reno 16 F and Reno 16 FS are powered by the Dimensity 7300 Energy chipset. The phones also pack a 6,500mAh battery with 45W fast wired charging.
For security, the phones use an optical under-display fingerprint sensor, and connectivity-wise, they come with Bluetooth 5.4, Wi-Fi 6, NFC and USB 2.0 Type-C for charging.
The Oppo Reno 16 F and Reno 16 FS also support an IP68 water and dust resistance rating.
Oppo Reno 16F Pricing and Availability
The Oppo Reno 16 F price in Germany starts from 549 euros (approximately Rs 59,000) for the 8 GB + 256 GB variant. Meanwhile, the Reno 16 FS is priced at 649 euros (approximately Rs 70,000) for its 8 GB + 512 GB variant. The smartphones are now available to purchase on Oppo's official German storefront.
The Oppo Reno 16 series India launch is scheduled for July 2, 2026, but only the regular Reno 16 and a Reno 16c will be launched in the country.
