In a market where brands are chasing to copy designs, Oukitel just crashed IFA 2026 to launch a handful of rugged phones that look nothing like conventional smartphones. Kissing aesthetics goodbye, the WP70, WP600 and WP63 smartphones come with their own set of unique features.

Starting with the top-of-the-line Oukitel WP70 Ultra smartphone, the brand markets it as its slimmest rugged phone with a gargantuan 16,000mAh battery made possible by a silicon-carbon battery. Supported by 66W fast charging, the handset runs Android 16 on a Dimensity 7200 processor.

The front of the smartphone hosts a 6.78-inch 120Hz OLED screen, while the rear features a 108 MP main camera. It is complemented by a 64 MP night vision lens and a thermal imaging sensor to detect heat signatures. The Oukitel WP70 Ultra is available in Green, Purple, and Orange.

Moving to the WP600, Oukitel markets it as a rugged gaming smartphone. Looks-wise, it comes with a yellow-and-black cyber-aesthetic design alongside customisable RGB and dual-fan active cooling for sustained thermal performance.

Under the hood, Oukitel packs a Dimensity 8300 chip paired with a completely overkill 24 GB of LPDDR5X RAM and 1 TB of UFS 4.0 storage. It boasts a 10,000mAh battery with 45W charging, a 120Hz 6.8-inch display, and IP68/IP69K and MIL-STD-810H durability ratings. We believe Oukitel has conveniently forgotten about the ongoing RAM crisis, and we wish more manufacturers would, too.

Finally, the WP63 is as weirdly utilitarian as it gets. That's because Oukitel says it's the world's first smartphone featuring a built-in electric lighter, which could prove to be useful for nomads who are always on the run.

The phone houses a head-scratching and absurd 20,000mAh battery that doubles as an 18W reverse-charging power bank.  The entire package is flanked by an integrated camping light and a heavy-duty speaker.

Oukitel has yet to announce their availability and pricing. However, considering they've been revealed, an official launch could be scheduled in the upcoming months in China and parts of Europe.
