OxygenOS 16 Open Beta registration is out for OnePlus 13, 12, Open and More
The OnePlus Community forum announced the arrival of OxygenOS 16 Open Beta registration. However, not all of OxygenOS 16 supported devices are eligible for the open beta. Currently, the registration is live for only OnePlus 13, OnePlus 13s, OnePlus 13r, OnePlus 12, OnePlus 12r and the OnePlus Open. At Beebom Gadgets, we were able to apply for the OxygenOS 16 Open Beta on the OnePlus 13 and Open.

The update log, as expected, comes with the usual beta update disclaimers, terms and conditions and key information related to the OxygenOS 16 beta update. So, make sure to go through them before applying.

That said, eligible devices will get a notification about the open beta registration. Interested folks can head over to Settings -> System & update -> Software update -> three-dot icon -> Beta programme on their supported OnePlus phone to apply for the open beta. Then, after the October 16, 2025, OxygenOS 16 release date in India, users will be shipped the update.
This year, with OxygenOS 16, the focus is on better and deeper integration of AI within the OS. The Mind Space feature, introduced with the OnePlus 13s, will get Gemini AI integration with the new update. Other OxygenOS 16 features are expected to include smoother animations, full-screen always-on display and more.

Apart from this, expect to see several new customisation options like lock screen clock styles, widgets and Android 16's Material 3 Expressive design language.
