The Philips S7221 5G has launched in India as the brand's latest budget smartphone with a big battery, 120 Hz display and more, all for around Rs 20,000.

The Philips S7221 5G features a 6.67-inch LCD display with a 120 Hz refresh rate and a 720 x 1600 pixel resolution. It's powered by the Unisoc T765 chipset and runs Android 16 out of the box.
On the camera front, the phone houses a 64 MP rear camera paired with a 16 MP front shooter, with support for AI Scene Optimisation and portrait mode aimed at social-media-ready shots.
Battery life is handled by a 5,700mAh cell, paired with a 25W fast charger in the box. The phone measures 166 x 77 x 8.95mm and weighs 210 grams.
Rounding out the spec sheet is dual SIM support, an Ultra Game Mode, IP64 dust and splash resistance, dual stereo speakers, a USB-C port, dual-band WiFi, GPS and support for 7 5G bands. There's also a side-mounted fingerprint scanner for security.
