The brand took to its official X handle to drop a teaser for the upcoming M8 series. While the brand teases a new Poco M series, given how the last phone to launch was the Poco M7 Plus in India, this is most definitely the Poco M8 lineup.

Poco doesn't let us in on anything else in the teaser and simply gives a quick recap of all the Poco M series phones. However, thanks to leaks and reports, we already know a bunch of things about the upcoming Poco M8 and M8 Pro.

For starters, a recent leak highlighted how the Poco M8 Pro could simply be a rebranded Redmi Note 15 Pro+. This claim was backed by Poco M8 series renders that leaked around the same time and highlighted an identical design.

However, the M8 Pro could feature a downgraded 50 MP primary shooter instead of the 200 MP lens on the Note 15 Pro+. Other expected Poco M8 Pro specs include:

  • 6.83-inch 1.5K 120 Hz AMOLED display
  • Snapdragon 7s Gen 4 SoC
  • LPDDR4X RAM and UFS 2.2 storage
  • Android 15-based HyperOS 2
  • 50 MP main lens + 8 MP ultra-wide shooter
  • 32 MP selfie shooter
  • 6,500mAh battery, 100W fast charging
  • In-display fingerprint sensor, Wi-Fi 6E, Bluetooth 5.4, NFC, IR blaster
  • IP68 rating

While the brand hasn't provided an official launch date, expect to see the phones launch sometime in January 2026.
