Smartphone brand Poco has silently launched a new Android tablet in the USA, the Poco Pad C1. Positioned as an entry-level product, it features a big display, a reliable Snapdragon processor, the latest software and a large battery capacity.
Poco Pad C1 Specifications and Features
From the looks of it, the Poco Pad C1 is a rebranded Redmi Pad 2 9.7, which launched in Malaysia and Singapore just last month. As a result, specifications remain the same.
The all-new Poco Pad C1 features a 9.7-inch IPS LCD display with a 2K (2048 x 1280 pixels) resolution, a 120 Hz refresh rate and a 180 Hz touch sampling rate. The panel can reach up to 600 nits of peak brightness and can offer an immersive viewing experience with its quad speaker setup tuned by Dolby Atmos.
For performance, Poco is using the recently launched Snapdragon 6s 4G Gen 2 processor, paired with up to 6 GB of LPDDR4X RAM and up to 128 GB of UFS 2.2 storage. It ships with HyperOS 3 update based on Android 16 out of the box and brings several Xiaomi interconnectivity features as well. The tablet also supports storage expansion via microSD card, up to 2TB.

As for battery and charging, the Poco Pad C1 comes with a 7,600mAh cell capacity and can support up to 18W of USB-C charging. However, the tablet ships with an 15W charger in the box. The tablet is relatively slim at 7.4mm and moderately heavy at 406 grams.
Connectivity options include Wi-Fi 5, Bluetooth 5.0, a 3.5mm headphone jack with Hi-Res audio and a USB-C 2.0 port. Rest, the tablet comes with an 8 MP back camera and a 5 MP front facing camera.
As for pricing, the Poco Pad C1 starts from $139 (approximately Rs 13,500) for the 4 GB + 64 GB option. It also comes in a 6 GB + 128 GB storage and RAM configuration and that one is priced at $179 (approximately Rs 17,200). Interested folks will be able to choose from Blue and Grey colour options.
