Realme has officially launched the Realme 16 Pro Harry Potter Edition in India, marking the brand's second licensed collaboration after last year's Realme 15 Pro Game of Thrones Limited Edition debut.
Developed in partnership with Warner Bros. Discovery Global Consumer Products, the special edition brings a Hogwarts-themed makeover to the standard Realme 16 Pro, without changing anything under the hood.
Realme 16 Pro Harry Potter Edition: What's New
The Realme 16 Pro Harry Potter Edition features a brown faux-leather rear panel with an argyle pattern. This distinct pattern is inspired by the Wizard's Chessboard from the films, and we also see a Hogwarts crest centred on the back.
The camera module gets a metal mirror finish shaped to resemble the eyes of Hedwig, Harry Potter's owl. Meanwhile, the metallic mid-frame carries a laser-engraved "Welcome to Hogwarts" inscription.
Alongside the phone, Realme is offering a Hogwarts-themed limited-edition gifting box, capped at just 5,000 units globally. The box is designed as a 1:1 replica of Harry Potter's school trunk and includes a curated "Hogwarts Welcome Pack".
This includes a replica Hogwarts acceptance letter and train ticket, house-themed crest bookmarks, character postcards and a custom-embossed Hogwarts phone case with a matching SIM ejector pin.
Apart from this, the Realme 16 Pro Harry Potter Edition also comes with special themed watermarks that are based on the four houses (Gryffindor, Hufflepuff, Ravenclaw, and Slytherin) of the Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry.

Realme 16 Pro Harry Potter Edition Specifications
Under its themed exterior, the Harry Potter Edition matches the specs of the standard Realme 16 Pro, which launched in India in January this year.
It features the same 6.78-inch 1.5K flat AMOLED display with a 144 Hz refresh rate and up to 6,500 nits of peak brightness.
It's also powered by the same MediaTek Dimensity 7300 Max chipset, with up to 12 GB of RAM and 256 GB of UFS 3.1 storage. Out of the box, the phone runs Android 16 with Realme UI 7.0.
On the camera front, the Realme 16 Pro Harry Potter Edition retains the same 200 MP main sensor with OIS, an 8 MP ultra-wide lens and a 50 MP front-facing camera.
Battery duties are handled by a 7,000mAh battery with 80W fast charging, wired reverse charging and bypass charging support.
The Harry Potter edition phone also carries IP66/IP68/IP69/IP69K ratings for dust and water resistance, just as the regular Realme 16 Pro.

The Realme 16 Pro Harry Potter edition is priced at Rs 62,999 for the sole 12 GB RAM and 256 GB storage variant.
For context, the regular Realme 16 Pro price in India currently starts at 44,999 for the base 8 GB + 128 GB variant, while the 12 GB + 256 GB model costs Rs 49,999. This makes the Harry Potter Edition Rs 13,000 more expensive.
However, considering the worsening RAM crisis, it makes a lot of sense, given all the Harry Potter goodies you get as a fan of the franchise. Not to mention that it's a capable camera phone in the segment that also ticks other boxes to be what you may call a reliable all-rounder.
