Realme has officially begun teasing the Realme 16 Pro series India launch with a promotional poster that describes the lineup as "A New Masterpiece." The upcoming lineup is expected to include the Realme 16 Pro and Realme 16 Pro+.
Realme 16 Pro+ teased to feature massive battery and powerful processor
The brand took to its official X handle to drop the teaser, emphasising its philosophy of "mastering every pixel." It looks like the Realme 16 Pro and Realme 16 Pro+ will be camera-centric offerings, as always. However, going by the dedicated landing page that's now live on the Realme India website, the Realme 16 Pro series will also see upgrades to its performance and battery capacity.
The Realme 16 Pro+ will undoubtedly be the highlight of the series and has been teased to pack a Snapdragon chipset that's more powerful than the Snapdragon 7 Gen 4. Maybe Qualcomm is planning on launching the Snapdragon 7 Gen 5 with the phone? Nothing can be said for sure.

Apart from that, the Realme 16 Pro+ has also been teased to pack a bigger battery capacity than 6,500mAh. Going by the recent trend of big battery phones flaunting 7,000mAh capacities, it won't be surprising to see the Pro Plus take that route.
Additionally, Realme has also confirmed three years of major Android updates and four years of security patches for the 16 Pro series. The upcoming phones will also arrive with Android 16-based Realme UI 7.0 right out of the box.
Just a while ago, the Realme 16 Pro+ retail box leaked and hinted at there being a periscope camera. The brand has finally confirmed its presence by referring to the phone as a "Master of Portraits" that features a 3.5x telephoto and can capture shots of up to 10x.

The Realme 16 Pro and 16 Pro+ have also been confirmed to feature an AI Edit Genie 2.0 feature. For those unaware, the AI editing tool went official with the Realme 15 series launch earlier this year and it brings voice-supported AI image editing to the phones.
It is also important to note that the Realme 15 lineup didn't have a Pro+ variant and the brand is bringing it back with the Realme 16 Pro series. Since Realme has already started teasing the phones, expect a concrete launch date anytime soon.
