Last week, Realme made its GT 8 series official in China. The linuep comprised of the standard GT 8 and the GT 8 Pro. Now, the brand has officially confirmed that the smartphones will launch in the month of November 2025 in India.

Realme GT 8 series is heading to India next month

The Realme GT 8 Pro microsite is now live on the Realme India website and Flipkart. The official X handle of the brand has also made the announcement.

At the time of writing, the exact launch date remains undisclosed. However, if we were to go by Francis Wong's last month's X post, the Realme GT 8 Pro will become India's first Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 phone.  

With the OnePlus 15 India launch event set for November 13, 2025, we can expect the Realme GT 8 lineup to reach India between November 1 and November 12, 2025. However, tipster @heyitsyogesh on X claims that the Realme phone will only arrive in India on November 20, 2025.

However, until an official launch date confirmation arrives, we urge you to take this information with a pinch of salt. That said, we should hear the exact launch date from Realme in a couple of days.

As for what the phones will offer, the Realme GT 8 series China launch concluded recently, and both devices feature the Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 processor. They will also become the first Realme UI 7.0 smartphones in the country, based on Android 16.

Additionally, both phones bring an interchangeable camera deco design system to spice things up. The big highlight with the GT 8 Pro is the new 200 MP periscope telephoto camera with 3x optical zoom and up to 120x digital zoom. 

As for the other details, both phones bring a 7,000mAh battery, 6.79-inch 1.5K 144 Hz 10-bit AMOLED display, Wi-Fi 7, Bluetooth 6.0 and more.
