Realme Neo 8 China Launch Set for This Date

Realme has now officially revealed when the Neo 8 smartphone will launch in China. The brand has set January 12, 2026, as the launch date for the phone and it will be unveiled at a dedicated event in China from 2:30 PM CST (or 12:00 PM IST).

Realme Neo 8 will feature Samsung-made display

In an official Weibo post, the brand has also confirmed that it has collaborated deeply with Samsung for the Realme Neo 8 display. It will bring four groundbreaking new experiences to the Realme Neo 8, but at the time of writing, it is unclear what they will be.

Also, the current post has not spilt any more tea on the upcoming phone. The phone was previously confirmed to bring the Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 chipset and a recent Realme Neo 8 Geekbench listing also confirmed the same.

Aside from that, Realme is giving the Neo 8 a gameresque makeover with a semi-transparent back panel, an electric Purple hue and a unique LED strip light. It is expected to rock a 6.78-inch 1.5K 165 Hz OLED display at the front, an 8,000mAh battery underneath, a 50 MP telephoto camera with 120X digital zoom at the back and Realme UI 7.0 based on Android 16 inside.
