Back in October 2025, RedMagic made the 11 Pro series official in China. It brought the RedMagic 11 Pro and RedMagic 11 Pro+ to the country. However, the anticipated RedMagic 11 Air didn't make an appearance then. Now, the brand has officially confirmed the smartphone's existence and it is going to go official very soon.
RedMagic 11 Air China launch officially confirmed
The revelation comes directly from RedMagic's Gaming Phone Product Manager, Jiang Chao. He took to Weibo to repost tipster Digital Chat Station's (DCS) post which mentioned the arrival of the smartphone for the first time.

Now, while Chao didn't divulge much about the upcoming phone, his post did mention that it is going to be yet another powerful offering from Nubia. However, DCS's post mentions a Snapdragon 8 Elite series chip for the smartphone. Given that the RedMagic 10 Air was powered by the Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 processor, there is a good chance that the 11 Air will rock the Snapdragon 8 Elite SoC.
It is also reportedly going to retain the signature active cooling fan design and will also become the first phone next year to feature an under-display selfie camera. The battery capacity is also said to gain a significant bump. Since the predecessor sported a 6,000mAh cell, expect a 7,000mAh unit inside the successor.

Aside from that, a previous TENNA listing of the RedMagic 11 Air mentioned a 6.85-inch 1.5K OLED display, 50 MP main camera, up to 24 GB of RAM and up to 1 TB of storage. It is also said to be 7.85mm thick and weigh 207 grams.
That said, since the RedMagic 11 Air's existence is officially confirmed, expect more details to crop up soon. With a tentative launch window of January 2026, it won't be long before the next member of the RedMagic 11 series is officially out.
