We are just two days away from the RedMagic 12 Pro+ launch in China. The brand has already shown off the phone’s design and colour options. Now, the key display details of the RedMagic 12 Pro+ have also been revealed.
RedMagic 12 Pro+ Shares The Same Display As OnePlus 16
The official RedMagic Weibo account has confirmed that the RedMagic 12 Pro+ will come with a 1.5K BOE X11 full-screen display. The panel will support an ultra-high 185 Hz refresh rate. If this sounds familiar, this is because it is the same panel that the OnePlus 16 brings, which launched yesterday.

RedMagic 12 Pro+ also features ninth-generation under-display camera technology. This means the selfie camera sits under the screen, giving you a true full-screen experience with no notch or punch-hole. RedMagic has also added a dedicated display control chip to the phone.
Under the hood, RedMagic has confirmed that the phone will run on the 2nm Snapdragon 8 Elite Extreme Gen 6 chipset. The brand also says that the RedMagic 12 Pro+ is lighter, thinner and narrower than the RedMagic 11 Pro+.

The display bezels are down to 0.96 mm from 1.25 mm on its predecessor. As for cooling, the phone is confirmed to have a built-in active fan along with a liquid cooling system with RGB lighting.
Meanwhile, the RedMagic 12 Pro+ is tipped to pack an 8,400mAh battery with 120W wired and 80W wireless charging. However, these battery details are not official yet. The RedMagic 12 Pro+ launches in China on October 15, 2026, at 2:30 PM CST (or 12:00 PM IST). We shall know more soon. So, stay tuned.
