Last week, the Redmi K90 Max teaser went live, confirming the arrival of its performance-focused K-series phone in China. Now, the brand has officially revealed the launch date of the Redmi K90 Max and it is sooner than expected.
Redmi K90 Max China Launch Confirmed for April 21
The official landing page for the Redmi K90 Max has been updated to list April 21, 2026, at 16:30 CST (or 4:30 PM IST) as the phone's official launch date. It will be unveiled at a dedicated launch event and will sit between the regular Redmi K90 and top-tier Redmi K90 Pro Max.

Additionally, the official Redmi Weibo account also showcases the K90 Max in Space Silver colourway, with a metallic silver finish and an edge-to-edge camera island. The Redmi K90 Max will feature a dual camera setup at the back, positioned vertically on the left side. Meanwhile, on the right side of the camera plateau rests a physical cooling fan with a large grille at the front and additional airflow vents underneath.

Redmi claims the cooling module of the K90 Max can drop the phone's temperature by 10°C within 100 seconds, further accelerated by the aluminium alloy frame. Despite all the additional vents and openings, the phone also manages to pack in IP66 + IP68 + IP69 ratings.
Redmi K90 Max Specifications (Expected)
When it comes to performance, the Redmi K90 Max could rock the flagship Dimensity 9500 chipset. The phone is also expected to feature a 1.5K OLED display with a high 165 Hz refresh rate, an 8,000mAh high-density battery capacity and 100W fast charging.
That said, the Redmi K90 Max pre-orders are currently live in China for just 9.9 Chinese yuan (approximately Rs 140). Select customers will be eligible to win a mystery package worth 3,600 Chinese yuan (approximately Rs 48,500).
