Redmi's annual 'K' series refresh is about to land soon in China in the form of the K90 Pro. It is expected to bring some key upgrades like a 7,000+mAh battery and more. Now, the smartphone has appeared on Geekbench, revealing the kind of firepower it is going to pack.
Redmi K90 Pro scores over 11,000 multi-core points on Geekbench
Spotted by tipster Abhishek Yadav, the Redmi K90 Pro has been listed on the Geekbench benchmarking platform with the Xiaomi 25102RKBEC SKU. The Pro variant of the Redmi K90 has managed to score 3,559 points in the single-core test, while hitting 11,060 points in multi-core. Other details confirm the presence of 16 GB RAM and Android 16, likely HyperOS 3.

Looking at the above scores, there is no doubt that the upcoming flagship from Redmi is using a flagship-grade chipset. We strongly believe it is the Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 mobile platform, which debuted last month. To further back the speculation, it is clearly visible that the CPU cluster used has an octa-core architecture, with two prime cores clocked at 4.60 GHz and six performance cores clocked at 3.62 GHz.
Even a deep dive at the GPU has revealed the Adreno 840 which is used in the new top-of-the like SoC from Qualcomm. Hence, it is without a doubt that the aforementioned smartphone is being powered by the Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 chipset.

As for the other details, the Redmi K90 Pro periscope camera was also tipped previously. If true, this will be a noticeable upgrade in the camera department, since the 2024 Redmi K80 Pro shipped with a floating telephoto lens. It could make use of a 50 MP Samsung JN1 telephoto sensor.
Expect to see the lens get paired with a 50 MP Light Fusion 950 main camera and a 50 MP ultra-wide angle sensor. Additionally, apart from the cameras, the battery and charging department on the smartphone is also due for an upgrade.

Not only will the smartphone apparently ship with a 7,000mAh battery and 100W fast USB-C charging, but the Redmi K90 Pro wireless charging was also previously tipped to be 50W. Apart from this, expect to see a 6.59-inch 1.5K flat 120 Hz LTPS OLED panel on the smartphone along with an ultrasonic fingerprint scanner underneath. It will also very possibly ship with the HyperOS 3 update based on Android 16.
That said, just like the previous "Redmi K" series models, the K90 Pro will also stay limited to China. However, we can expect the device to get rebranded for India and launch as the Poco F8 Pro in 2026.
