Galaxy F70 Display and Design
Talking about the display first, the phone features a big 6.7-inch Full HD+ (2340 x 1080 pixels) Super AMOLED display with a 90 Hz refresh rate. Samsung also claims this to be the "segment's brightest sAMOLED display", but the exact brightness levels (in NITS) haven't been shared yet. The display is also protected by Gorilla Glass Victus.

As for the design, the Galaxy F70 features the signature minimalistic Galaxy aesthetics with that pill-shaped vertical camera module at the back. The phone measures 164.4 x 77.9 x 7.5mm, with the brand referring to it as the "segment's slimmest phone". It weighs 192 grams.

Galaxy F70 Processor
Under the hood, the Samsung Galaxy F70 is powered by the Exynos 1330 chipset. It's a 5nm octa-core chipset with a maximum clock speed of 2.4 GHz. For those unaware, the Exynos 1330 is similar to the Dimensity 6300 in terms of performance and is even slightly better in some scenarios.

The chipset is paired with up to 6 GB of LPDDR4X RAM and 128 GB of storage (expandable up to 2 TB; storage type isn't specified currently).

Galaxy F70 Software
Here comes the interesting bit. The Galaxy F70 Flipkart listing reveals that it runs on Android 15 OS out of the box. The official Samsung website hasn't listed this yet, so we don't know its accuracy.
However, if that indeed is the case, it's a bit of a letdown considering that we have already started getting Android 17-based One UI 9 on eligible Samsung Galaxy phones.
So, the phone should ideally run on Android 16 out of the box. But considering Samsung's solid software commitment, expect the phone to be part of the One UI 9 eligible devices list.

Anyway, Samsung is promising the usual Circle to Search, Google Gemini and Samsung Wallet with Tap and Pay integrations. Apart from this, the phone will also pack features like Quick Share and Voice Focus natively. There's also Samsung's Knox Security for additional peace of mind.
Galaxy F70 Battery and Charging

The Samsung Galaxy F70 packs a generous 5,000mAh battery with 25W fast charging support. The minimum rated capacity is 4,855mAh. Also, do note that the 25W fast charger is sold separately, and you only get a USB-C to USB-C cable and a SIM ejector pin in the box.
That said, the Galaxy F70 does seem like a saving grace for those looking for the best phones under Rs 20,000 at a time when phone prices are skyrocketing due to the RAM crisis. So, if you're one of them and have always been a Samsung fan, this might be it.
In the segment, the phone goes up against the brand's own Samsung Galaxy M17e 5G, as well as other phones like the OnePlus N6x 5G, iQOO Z11 Lite and more.
