Samsung has officially launched the Galaxy F70 Pro in India, expanding its budget-focused F-series lineup. The phone essentially brings the recently launched Galaxy M47 5G to the F-series under a new name and a Flipkart-exclusive retail tie-up.
Samsung Galaxy F70 Pro Specifications and Features
The Samsung Galaxy F70 Pro sports a 6.7-inch Full HD+ Super AMOLED display with a 120 Hz refresh rate, peaking at 1400 nits of brightness. This panel is also protected by Gorilla Glass Victus+, rated for 2-metre fall resistance and 4x scratch resistance. There are also stereo speakers to make use of and enhance the viewing experience.
On the camera front, the phone gets a 50 MP main camera with OIS, paired with a 5 MP ultrawide lens and a 2 MP macro shooter, along with 4K video recording and Samsung's No Shake Cam stabilisation.
Up front sits a 12 MP HDR-capable selfie camera, tuned to balance skin tones in backlit and harsh sunlight conditions, which Samsung is calling the "segment's only HDR selfie camera."
Powering the Galaxy F70 Pro is a Snapdragon 6 Gen 3 chipset, an octa-core, 4nm processor with an Adreno 710 GPU, paired with fast LPDDR5X RAM and UFS 3.1 storage.
Software-wise, the F70 Pro runs One UI 8.5 out of the box, with Circle to Search, Google Gemini, and AI voice transcription baked in, alongside Samsung Wallet, Quick Share, and Knox-based security features like Private Album.
Samsung is backing the phone with six generations of Android OS upgrades and six years of security patches.
Rounding out the spec sheet is a 6000mAh battery with 45W fast-charging support, good for up to 12 hours of social media scrolling, over 24 hours of YouTube streaming and over 8 hours of gaming on a single charge. Bypass charging support is also on board, routing power directly to the processor while gaming and plugged in to keep thermals in check during longer sessions.
Connectivity includes 5G SA/NSA, Wi-Fi 802.11ac, Bluetooth 5.3, NFC and a USB-C port.

With the Galaxy F70 Pro now official, Samsung has effectively given the M47 5G a second life under the F-series badge. It's undoubtedly one of the best phones under Rs 30,000 at the moment, considering the ongoing RAM crisis. In that segment, it will essentially lock horns with the likes of the Motorola Edge 70, Vivo T5x 5G and the Realme 16T 5G.
