The Samsung Galaxy S26 FE camera specs have surfaced online and from the looks of it, the phone will retain the Galaxy S25 FE's sensors for the most part.
According to an Android Authority report, the Galaxy S26 FE's internal codename is "r14," a natural successor to the Galaxy S25 FE's "r13" and the Galaxy S24 FE's "r12." Alongside the codename, the publication has also detailed the camera hardware expected to feature on the phone.
Galaxy S26 FE Camera Details Tipped
The main camera is tipped to use the same 50 MP Samsung ISOCELL S5KGN3 sensor found on the Galaxy S25 FE. This is a 1/1.57-inch sensor with a 1µm pixel size, f/1.8 aperture, dual-pixel PDAF, and OIS.
The telephoto camera of the Galaxy S26 FE is expected to carry over too, with the 8 MP OmniVision OV08A1 returning for another generation. That sensor offers 3x optical zoom, an f/2.4 aperture, and OIS on the current-gen FE.
Additionally, a 12 MP GalaxyCore GC12A2 and a 12 MP Sony IMX825 camera sensor also round out the setup. However, it's unclear which of these will handle ultrawide duties and which will sit up front as the selfie camera.
But based on how the Galaxy S25 FE was configured, the IMX825 is more likely to end up as the selfie shooter, with the GC12A2 handling ultrawide shots. If accurate, this would mean Samsung is largely carrying over the Galaxy S25 FE's camera hardware rather than introducing a fresh sensor stack.
However, the camera module design could be redesigned, as per a Galaxy S26 FE design leak, courtesy of its WPC listing. Instead of the sensors being individually placed in a vertical layout on the back panel, they could be placed on a dedicated camera island this time around.

Apart from that, the Galaxy S26 FE Geekbench listing had already surfaced online, revealing the Exynos 2500 chipset, 8 GB of RAM and Android 17 on board.
The Samsung Galaxy S26 FE price in Europe was also tipped recently and it could start at 799 euros (approximately Rs 87,000), which is 50 euros more than the Galaxy S25 FE.
Samsung could launch the Galaxy S26 FE in September 2026 alongside the Galaxy Tab S12 series. With the launch window closing in, expect more details to trickle out in the coming weeks.
