Samsung has officially confirmed that the Galaxy S26 series will retain one of its predecessor's most popular pre-order perks, at least in India. Ahead of the Galaxy Unpacked event scheduled for February 25, 2026, the brand's India reservation page has revealed its signature upgrade offer at no extra cost.
Samsung's Double Storage Offer Returns with Galaxy S26
Despite industry reports suggesting Samsung is abandoning its signature double storage upgrade offer, the brand has confirmed that it won't be the case. The Indian market will see a return of the free storage upgrade offer.

This means customers who pre-book the 256 GB variant of the Galaxy S26, Galaxy S26+, or Galaxy S26 Ultra can choose to upgrade to the 512 GB variant when completing their purchase - at no extra cost. However, the current promotional material does not list a similar tier jump for those pre-ordering the 512 GB version.
Besides, early adopters in India are also guaranteed a Rs 2,699 voucher, alongside a lucky draw in the pre-reservation campaign. In it, Samsung will be choosing 75 winners and giving them Rs 5,000. Additionally, five grand prize winners will walk away with vouchers worth Rs 50,000.
While this set of offers is confirmed for India, there's currently no information about whether Samsung plans to expand these to other regions. That said, the Galaxy S26 series is expected to arrive with an Exynos 2600 processor, 12 GB LPDDR5X RAM and UFS 4.1 storage.
The standard Galaxy S26 is expected to get a bump in battery to 4,300mAh, while the Galaxy S26+ could boast a redesigned camera bump, common across Galaxy S26 series smartphones. The Ultra will arrive with Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 and camera upgrades. The Galaxy S26 lineup will also arrive with a Privacy Display feature to keep shoulder surfers at bay.
To reiterate, the Galaxy S26 series launch date is set for February 25, 2026, and with less than a week to go, more information about the pricing and offers should be revealed soon.
