We are just a week away from Samsung's Galaxy Unpacked 2026 event, where the South Korean giant will be launching their next-gen Galaxy Z Fold 8, Z Fold 8 Ultra and Z Flip 8. Ahead of that, a major leak has now outed almost every specification of the Galaxy Z Fold 8 series.

Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 8 Key Specifications Leaked

The information comes from the publication Winfuture, which has revealed the key details of both foldables. Starting with the Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 8, it is undoubtedly the most anticipated Samsung foldable this year.

Sporting a wide-screen passport-like aspect ratio, the folding phone is tipped to feature a 7.6-inch foldable AMOLED display with a 120 Hz refresh rate and 2448 x 1848 pixels resolution. As for the cover screen, it is said to be a 5.5-inch AMOLED panel with a 120 Hz refresh rate and 1248 x 1972 pixels resolution.

This will give the Galaxy Z Fold 8 a 16:10 aspect ratio and dimensions of 161.4 x 12.39 x 4.5 mm (unfolded). Samsung also recently announced the Flex Titanium Display for Galaxy Z Fold 8 series, promising a crease-free display viewing experience. Samsung is using a titanium-alloy film and plate to reduce the visible crease in the middle of the display and also add an extra layer of protection for the fragile folding screen.

Powering the Galaxy Z Fold 8 will be the Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 chipset for Galaxy, which the South Korean brand teased recently. The SoC will likely be paired with up to 16 GB of LPDDR5X RAM and up to 1 TB of storage.

As for the cameras, the report indicates a dual 50 MP rear camera setup, which includes a main lens and an ultra-wide-angle lens. The selfie cameras on both the inner screen and the cover screen are said to be 10 MP.

The other Galaxy Z Fold 8 specifications are tipped to include a 4,800mAh battery with 45W fast charging support. Finally, colour options for the Galaxy Z Fold 8 are said to include Graphite, Cream, Lavender and Pistachio (online exclusive), and the phone could start from 1,999 euros (approximately Rs 2,21,000).

Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 8 Ultra Key Specifications Leaked

Moving on to the Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 8 Ultra, this will become the successor to last year's Galaxy Z Fold 7 and is also the top-of-the-line foldable within the Galaxy Z Fold 8 lineup. The phone is expected to be an iterative upgrade with an 8-inch foldable display and a 6.5-inch cover screen.

Both screens are said to offer a 120 Hz refresh rate and the phone retains the tall aspect ratio of its predecessor. Also, just like the Galaxy Z Fold 8, the Galaxy Z Fold 8 Ultra will champion minimal crease visibility and durability thanks to the Flex Titanium Display this year.

Internally, the smartphone will be powered by the Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 chipset for Galaxy, like the Galaxy Z Fold 8 and will also feature up to 16 GB of LPDDR5X RAM and up to 1 TB of internal storage.

However, cameras are a big leap with the Galaxy Z Fold 8 Ultra, compared to the Galaxy Z Fold 8. The foldable is tipped to bring a 200 MP f/1.7 main camera, a 10 MP 3x telephoto camera and a new 50 MP ultra-wide-angle sensor. Selfie cameras on the inner and cover displays are expected to remain at 10 MP.

Battery is another area where the Ultra foldable is expected to top the Galaxy Z Fold 7 and even the Galaxy Z Fold 8. At 5,000mAh, this will become the biggest battery Samsung has ever used inside its dual-screen foldable (the triple-folding Galaxy Z TriFold comes with a 5,600mAh battery). Charging speed is said to be the same at 45W.

Further, the phone is expected to come in Graphite, Cream, Violet Shadow and Green Shadow colour options and could start from 2,199 euros (approximately Rs 2,50,000).

That said, both phones will be officially unveiled next week and we will know every detail then. So, stay tuned for Samsung's Unpacked event on July 22, 2026.
