Next month is going to be monumental for Samsung as it plans to add a new wide foldable to its Galaxy Z Fold 8 and Flip 8 lineups. Dubbed the Galaxy Z Fold 8 Wide, we have seen multiple leaks regarding the phone, including a side-by-side comparison of how it will look beside the other two. Now, a new leak has yet again compared the three models, and this time, we get an idea of their outer screens.

Galaxy Z Fold 8, Galaxy Z Fold 8 Ultra and Galaxy Z Flip 8 Outer Screens Compared

Prolific tipster Ice Universe has made a new post showcasing the side-by-side comparison of the Galaxy Z Fold 8, Galaxy Z Fold 8 Wide and the Galaxy Z Flip 8 outer displays. Since we have heard that Samsung is planning a Galaxy Z Fold 8 Wide name change, it will likely be known as the "Galaxy Z Fold 8", while the regular model will be called the "Galaxy Z Fold 8 Ultra".

The same product hierarchy is visible on the above image and it gives us a good idea how all three phones will look like. The Galaxy Z Fold 8 Ultra (aka Galaxy Z Fold 8) and the Galaxy Z Flip 8 are no surprise since they retain very familiar design.

Both resemble the Galaxy Z Flip 7 and the Galaxy Z Fold 7 a lot, and we are not expecting them to bring major changes. The selfie camera placements also appear to be the same, with the Z Fold 8 getting a centre punch hole camera while the Flip 8 will bring a top-left positioned dual-camera horizontal pill-shaped module.

However, the main star of the show is no doubt the Galaxy Z Fold 8 (aka Galaxy Z Fold 8 Wide) and the cover screen further substantiates the recent Galaxy Z Fold 8 Wide real-life usage image that leaked online. It is going to feature a passport-like design with a 7.6-inch inner display and a compact 5.4-inch outer screen

We have also seen the Galaxy Z Fold series and Z Flip 7 dummy units which gave us an idea about all three phones and how will they look in reality. Hence, the new cover screen leak further confirms the dimensions of all three phones and how Samsung will position each of them.

That said, Samsung is yet to confirm their launch or post any teasers. However, given that the official launch is set to happen in July 22, 2026, at the Galaxy Unpacked event for foldables, we will know in a short while what the South Korean brand has in store. So, stay tuned.
