For those unaware, the One UI 8.5 Beta first launched with the Galaxy S25 series in February 2026 and brings a host of new features and changes. The headline feature is the fully customisable Quick Panel, which lets you resize, rearrange and adjust Quick Settings toggles however you want. Samsung has also revamped its QuickStar module to expand these customisation options.
On the AI front, One UI 8.5 brings an improved Photo Assist feature, as part of Galaxy AI and enhanced Bixby with smarter device control and conversational history.
