The Tecno Spark 50 5G launched in India last month and now, the phone has silently received a 4G cousin. Packing a bigger battery and almost the same specifications with just 4G connectivity, the Tecno Spark 50 4G is meant for users on a tight budget who want a reliable smartphone experience.
Tecno Spark 50 4G Specifications and Features
The all-new Tecno Spark 50 4G features a 6.78-inch 120 Hz LCD display with HD+ resolution and up to 800 nits of high brightness. It is powered by the budget Helio G81 4G processor and can be paired with 8 GB of RAM and up to 256 GB of storage.
Tecno is shipping the Spark 50 4G with HiOS 16 based on Android 16 and brings several new AI tools like FlashSnap, Live Photo and Tecno's in-house Ella AI.
On the inside, the Tecno Spark 50 4G has managed to pack a massive 7,000mAh battery with 18W fast USB-C charging support. Now, this is a bigger capacity than the 6,500mAh unit powering the Tecno Spark 50 5G.
What's impressive is even though the phone packs such a high capacity, it is still relatively slim and lightweight at 8.18mm and 190 grams, respectively.
In terms of cameras, the phone brings a dual rear camera setup with a 50 MP main sensor and a secondary auxiliary lens. The selfie camera is a modest 5 MP shooter.
Apart from that, the Tecno Spark 50 4G gets an IP64 rating, ships with a side-mounted fingerprint scanner, single bottom-firing speaker, infrared sensor, dual-band Wi-Fi, dual SIM 5G support, Bluetooth, GPS and a USB-C 2.0 port.
Coming to pricing and availability, Techo has not revealed either of those details for the Spark 50 4G. The brand has confirmed it will be available in select markets and prices will be revealed when the phone goes up for sale.
It will be sold in three RAM and storage options - 4 GB + 128 GB, 6 GB + 128 GB and 8 GB + 256 GB. Tecno Spark 50 4G will be made available to purchase in Halo Blue, Titanium Grey, Ink Black, Aurora Purple and Bloom Pink colourways.
