Vivo is the latest smartphone brand to raise its prices in India and the list covers everything from its flagship to its most affordable phone by up to Rs 5,000, affecting both its flagship X-series and the budget Y-series lineup.
Vivo X300 FE, Vivo S2 and Six Other Phones Get More Expensive in India
According to tipster Sanju Choudhary on X, and confirmed by us, Vivo has raised the prices of eight phones. The biggest increase hits the Vivo X300 FE, which was initially launched in India at Rs 79,999 in India. It has already received a price hike.
But after this new one, both its variants are now Rs 5,000 more expensive, with the base 8 GB + 256 GB model jumping from Rs 84,999 to Rs 89,999.
The Vivo S2 also gets a significant hike of up to Rs 4,000, while the Y51 Pro goes up by Rs 2,000. Budget models like the Vivo Y21, Y19S, Y11 and Y05 see smaller increases of Rs 1,000 to Rs 1,500. Here is a breakdown of the new prices of Vivo phones after the hike:

The timing is hard to ignore. These hikes come just weeks before the upcoming Flipkart Big Billion Days and Amazon Great Indian Festival sales, which are when most brands offer their biggest discounts of the year.
Whether festive deals will offset the new prices remains to be seen, but buyers planning to buy a Vivo phone during the sales should keep these revised MRPs in mind, since the actual discount may not be as deep as it looks on paper.
