Vivo S50 surfaces online with Snapdragon chip and big battery
Tech publication Gizmochina managed to spot a China Telecom database listing of the Vivo S50 in the wild. It has listed the phone with the vivo V2528A SKU and has spilt the beans on some of the key details of the smartphone.

For starters, the listing has confirmed a 6.59-inch 1.5K OLED display for the smartphone with a 120 Hz refresh rate. It is said to boast the Snapdragon 8s Gen 3 processor from 2024. This doesn't come as a surprise since the Vivo S50 Geekbench listing also revealed the same SoC.
As for the cameras, the triple rear camera setup on the back has been revealed to feature a 50 MP main camera, a 50 MP Sony IMX882 periscope lens and an 8 MP ultra-wide angle lens. At the front, the selfie camera is said to gain a 50 MP shooter. For the battery, it looks like Vivo is going to pack a 6,500mAh cell with support for 90W fast USB-C charging.

Moreover, the listing has also mentioned that the phone will be available in three different RAM and storage models. It will start with 12 GB + 256 GB of RAM and will go up to 16 GB + 512 GB. Vivo earlier confirmed that it is using LPDDR5X RAM and UFS 4.1 storage for the S50.
Aside from that, Vivo S50 will ship with OriginOS 6 update based on Android 16 and will also sport an IP68 + IP69 dust and water resistance rating. That said, since the Vivo S50 series China launch is set for December 15, 2025, expect all to be revealed next week. Moreover, expect the same smartphone to land as the Vivo V70 in India and the rest of the world.
