  • Vivo S50 has appeared on Geekbench with Snapdragon 8s Gen 3 and 16 GB RAM under the hood.
  • It achieved a single-core score of 2,044 and a multi-core score of 5,851, indicating a performance upgrade.
  • The Vivo S50 may launch in China in December 2025 and as the Vivo T5 Ultra in India.

Vivo's next entry into the smartphone space could be the Vivo S50 and it has been spotted on the Geekbench benchmarking platform, revealing its key specifications. As per this listing, the upcoming phone will be a significant performance upgrade over its predecessor.

Vivo S50 could get a decent performance boost

The Vivo S50 has appeared on Geekbench with the model number V2528A. Additionally, the phone scores  2,044 points in single-core and 5,851 points in multi-core. The architecture of the chipset has also been listed and it reveals three cores clocked at 2.02 GHz, four cores clocked at 2.8 GHz and a single core clocked at 3.01 GHz.

Now, while the listing doesn't explicitly mention the Vivo S50 processor, going by the architecture, we can assume it's the Snapdragon 8s Gen 3. The tested unit also features 16 GB of RAM and is running on Android 16.

Besides the performance metrics, rumours suggest the S50 could boast 90W fast charging, the same as its predecessor. Interestingly, while the phone could launch as the Vivo S50 in China, it could launch as the Vivo T5 Ultra in markets such as India.

While information about the phone's specifications is scarce, a previous Vivo S50 leak from Digital Chat Station suggested the phone could boast a 6.59-inch AMOLED dispvlay and a periscope telephoto camera. Some of the other expected specifications include an ultrasonic fingerprint scanner and a 7,000mAh battery.

The Vivo S50 series could include three phones – the standard Vivo S50, the S50 Pro, and the S50 Pro mini. The Vivo S30 launched as the Vivo V60 in India but current rumours suggest the S50 could launch as the Vivo T5 Ultra in India.

While information about the S50 Pro's rebranding is unknown, we're very certain the S50 Pro Mini will launch as the Vivo X300 FE globally. This marks a shift in strategy as Vivo's S series in China typically gets rebranded as the V series globally.

As for the potential launch date, Vivo hasn't confirmed one but it's expected to unveil the Vivo S50 in China in December 2025. The exact dates should be revealed as we inch closer to launch, so stay tuned.
