Vivo's upcoming S50 series is shaping up to be a major mid-premium offering, with new leaks revealing the key specifications ahead of its official China debut. Notably, the phone is expected to launch as the Vivo V70 in India and globally.
Vivo S50 key specifications tipped
Reliable tipster Debayan Roy took to X to reveal the Vivo S50 specs and it is said to arrive with a 1.5K OLED 120 Hz flat display. The phone is also tipped to come with a robust metal frame and an IP69 rating, making it quite a durable phone in its class.

Under the hood, the Vivo S50 (model number V2528A) is expected to be powered by the Snapdragon 8s Gen 3 chipset. It does not come as a surprise since a previous Vivo V50 Geekbench sighting already hinted at the chipset.
However, the tipster suggests that the Vivo V70 (model number V2538) could launch with the Snapdragon 7 Gen 4 in India and globally. Despite the chipset differences, both variants are said to boast an impressive 6,500mAh to 7,000mAh silicon-carbon battery. The rated capacity could be paired with 90W fast charging support as well.

The Vivo S50 cameras are also said to be a highlight, with the phone reportedly featuring a 50 MP main camera, paired with a 50 MP 3x periscope lens and a 50 MP ultra-wide. At the front as well, the phone is expected to arrive with a 50 MP selfie shooter.
For now, that's all, but since the Vivo V50 lineup is expected to launch in China in the coming weeks, we won't have to wait for long to know all the details. As for the Indian counterpart, the Vivo V70, we can expect it to arrive in India and globally sometime in early 2026.
