Vivo T4R Launched in India with Dimensity 7400 and 5,700mAh Battery

Vivo has added a new member to the "T4" family, the T4R 5G, in India today, on July 31, 2025. The device has launched with a quad-curved AMOLED display, the Dimensity 7400 chipset and a 50 MP primary camera. Here is a detailed specification, pricing and availability breakdown of the smartphone.

Vivo T4R Specifications and Features

Starting with the display, the Vivo T4R 5G features a 6.77-inch quad curved 120 Hz AMOLED panel, with 100% DCI-P3 coverage, HDR10+ support and up to 1,800 nits of peak brightness. It is surrounded by even and minimal black bezels, giving it an edge-to-edge viewing experience.

The display is encased within a 7.39mm body and weighs at a mere 183.5 grams. Vivo claims that the T4R is the slimmest quad curved smartphone in India till date. At the back, there is a top-left aligned pill shaped camera module that is home to a dual camera setup and an Aura Light module.

The dual camera setup at the back is home to a 50 MP Sony IMX882 sensor with support for OIS and auto focus and a 2 MP Galaxycore GC02M1 depth sensor.

The centre punch-hole front camera is a 32 MP selfie shooter with an f/2.45 aperture. Both the front and the back cameras can record up to 4K @ 30 FPS video footage.

Under the hood, the Vivo T4R is powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 7400 chipset and is backed by up to 12 GB of LPDDR4x RAM. As for storage, the phone offers up to 256 GB of UFS 2.2 configuration.

It also features a 13,690 mm² vapour chamber cooling module, along with a big 5,700mAh battery with 44W fast charging support. The phone uses a USB-C 2.0 port for charging and data transfer purposes. It also features Bypass charging.

Right out of the box, the phone runs on Android 15-based Funtouch OS 15. The brand promises 2 years of major OS updates and 3 years of security patches. The phone also brings AI image-editing tools like AI Enhance and AI Erase. Bonus AI features include AI Note Assist, Circle to Search, AI Screen Translation and AI Transcript Assist.

In terms of protection, the device features Vivo's Diamond Shield Glass in collaboration with SCHOTT Xensation. The device is also well-protected from elements, thanks to the dual IP68 + IP69 rating. Not to mention that the device is also backed by military-grade durability (MIL-STD-810H).

In terms of connectivity, there is Wi-Fi 6, Bluetooth 5.4, dual nano-SIM support, 5G and 4G VoLTE support, GPS and NFC. It also features an in-display fingerprint scanner and stereo speakers.

Vivo T4R Price in India and Sale Date

All variants of the T4R 5G will go on sale in India on August 5, 2025, at 12:00 PM IST. It will be available to purchase via Flipkart and the official Vivo India website in the Twilight Blue and Arctic White colour options.
