The Indian smartphone market is facing its worst year yet due to the RAM crisis and the Vivo T5 Pro has fallen prey to it yet again. The phone now costs upwards of Rs 40,000 in India, although it was originally launched for under Rs 30,000.
The Vivo T5 Pro price hike in India was first spotted by tipster @saaaanjjjuuu on X and we independently verified it. The new hiked price of the smartphone is now live on Flipkart and the official Vivo India website.
The smartphone launched in India for Rs 29,999, making it undeniably one of the best phones under Rs 30,000. Later on, a Vivo T5 Pro price hike last month took that price up to Rs 35,999.
However, with the latest price hike, the smartphone now starts at Rs 41,999 for the base 8 GB + 128 GB variant, which is a Rs 6,000 price hike.
Meanwhile, the 8 GB + 256 GB variant gets a Rs 7,000 price hike, now costing Rs 46,999, up from Rs 39,999. In total, since launch, the 8 GB + 128 GB and 8 GB + 256 GB variants of the Vivo T5 Pro have received Rs 12,000 and Rs 13,000 price hikes, respectively.
