Vivo has launched a new phone in Malaysia, the Vivo V80 Lite 5G. This phone is different from the Vivo V80 Lite in Pakistan, which is essentially a rebranded Vivo S2. The Malaysian variant features a refreshed design, a 1.5K flat AMOLED display and a massive 10,000mAh battery.
Vivo V80 Lite 5G Specifications and Features
The biggest highlight of the Vivo V80 Lite 5G is undoubtedly its 10,000mAh battery capacity, making it one of the few Vivo phones to ship with such a massive cell. Vivo claims that the phone can retain 80% of its battery health even after 7 years and 1,400 charge cycles. The phone supports 44W fast charging.
Powering the Vivo V80 Lite 5G is the Dimensity 7300e chipset, an energy-efficient version of the standard Dimensity 7300 chipset. The SoC is paired with up to 8 GB of RAM and up to 256 GB of storage. Software-wise, the phone ships with OriginOS 6 based on Android 16.

At the front, the phone is equipped with a 6.83-inch flat 1.5K 120 Hz AMOLED display, with HDR10+ and up to 2,000 nits of peak brightness. The panel also comes with an in-display fingerprint scanner and SGS eye care protection.
On the camera front, the Vivo V80 Lite 5G features a dual rear camera setup comprising a 50 MP Sony IMX-852 main camera and a 2 MP depth sensor. The selfie camera is a 32 MP unit.

Aside from that, the Vivo V80 Lite 5G brings Bluetooth 5.4 support, dual-band Wi-Fi, USB-C 2.0, GPS with support for GLONASS, Galileo, QZSS and BeiDou, and OTG. Durability-wise, the phone gets IP68 + IP69 ratings.
The Vivo V80 Lite 5G pricing for Malaysia is not out yet. However, the official Vivo Malaysia website has revealed that the phone will be available in three RAM + storage configurations: 6 GB + 128 GB, 6 GB + 256 GB and 8 GB + 256 GB.
The phone comes in Afterglow Pink, Emerald Green and Dawn Black colour options.
