Last month, the highly anticipated Vivo X300 Ultra launched in China as the brand's top-tier camera phone of 2026. While it is already available to purchase in the mainland, global and Indian fans are yet to experience the brand's pinnacle of smartphone photography. Well, the wait could be almost over as a new report has tipped the Vivo X300 Ultra India launch date and it is closer than expected.
Vivo X300 Ultra India Launch Reportedly Set for May 2026
Tech publication SmartPrix, in collaboration with tipster Yogesh Brar, has exclusively reported that the Vivo X300 Ultra is likely to launch in India on May 7, 2026. It is said to go on pre-orders the same day and enter open sales from May 14, 2026, onwards.

The Vivo X300 Ultra will reportedly launch with the upgraded Zeiss Teleconverter Kit, which was introduced last month in China. The package is set to include the following camera accessories:
- 400mm Teleconverter Lens
- 200mm Teleconverter Lens
- Custom phone case with built-in kick stand
- Protective case with Filter Ring and decorative ring
- Black leather camera bag
- Shoulder strap
- Image Grip with customisable buttons and built-in 2300mAh battery with 55W fast charging support
It is unclear how much the Zeiss Camera Kit will cost, but given that the Vivo X300 and Vivo X300 Pro both bring a much less extensive Zeiss Camera Kit, starting at Rs 18,999, we expect the Vivo X300 Ultra camera rig to cost well above Rs 30,000.
Vivo X300 Ultra Price in India (Leaked)
In China, the Vivo X300 Ultra starts from 6,999 Chinese yuan (approximately Rs 96,000) for the 12 GB + 256 GB variant. While there is no word on its India pricing yet, multiple reports suggest Vivo X300 Ultra could be priced above Rs 1,50,000 for the same 12 GB + 256 GB variant. If true, this will make it one of the most expensive phones in 2026, especially in India.
Vivo X300 Ultra Specifications and Features
There is no doubt that the most striking and impressive feature of the Vivo X300 Ultra is its cameras. Vivo has managed to create its most capable camera phone yet, backed by Zeiss. It brings Vivo's in-house Blueprint Imaging technology for a triple rear camera setup, driven by a 200 MP Sony LYT-901 main camera with improved light intake, HDR processing and noise reduction.
The primary camera is paired with an equally capable 200 MP Samsung HPO 10x periscope telephoto camera, which features a CIPA 7.0 rating and gimbal-level OIS. To top it all off, there is a 50 MP 1/1.28-inch Sony LYT-818 ultra-wide angle lens with VCS Bionic spectrum, CIPA 6.0 and Zeiss T* Lens coating.
