Back in November 2025, the Vivo Y500 Pro went official in China as a premium mid-range phone with a 200 MP main camera. Now, the brand has already teased the sequel, the Vivo Y600 Pro and this time around, the focus has shifted from cameras to battery capacity.
Vivo Y600 Pro Launching Soon with 10,000mAh Battery
The official Vivo China Weibo handle has confirmed that Vivo Y600 Pro is launching soon in China as the successor to the popular Vivo Y500 Pro. This time, the phone is banking big on battery endurance with a whopping 10,000mAh capacity. It is going to become the only Vivo phone in existence to pack such a massive cell capacity.

Moreover, the teaser image has also given us a glimpse into the phone's design, revealing a similar circular camera deco as that of the Y500 Pro. However, interestingly, it mentions a 50 MP main camera, which means Vivo is downgrading the camera experience on the Y600 Pro.
For context, the Vivo Y500 Pro was the first mid-range Vivo phone in China to feature a 200 MP main camera. Hence, it seems that to make way for a bigger battery, Vivo is taking a step back with the cameras to manage costs. Rest, the phone is still going to feature a dual rear camera setup.
As for the other details, while there is no official word on those yet, we believe the Vivo Y600 Pro will not bring much change over the Y500 Pro aside from the battery upgrade and the camera downgrade.
Going by that assumption, we can expect the phone to bring a 6.67-inch 1.5K 120 Hz OLED display, the Dimensity 7400 chipset and 90W fast USB-C charging. However, we will know for sure once those details are shared officially, which we believe can happen in the next couple of days. So, stay tuned.
