Apple is gradually expanding its revamped Siri AI app across its ecosystem. While the upgraded assistant and the dedicated app have already been available for testing in iOS 27 developer betas, it was notably absent from watchOS 27 until now. With the release of watchOS 27 developer beta 3, Apple has finally introduced Siri AI to the Apple Watch.

Apple Watch Gets Dedicated Siri AI App in watchOS 27 Beta 3

With watchOS 27 developer beta 3, a dedicated Siri AI app has been added, bringing the much-smarter Siri experience for testing to Apple Watch users. The update is rolling out alongside the iOS 27 developer beta 3, and the integration brings a few user interface changes to Apple's wearables.

One of the biggest changes is to the App Grid. Pressing the digital crown on an Apple Watch now places the new Siri app at the centre of the grid, making it more accessible. Users can then conveniently launch the app and start asking questions.

However, it's worth noting that due to the heavy computational limitations of Apple Watches, Siri on watchOS 27 Beta 3 relies on Apple Intelligence-supported iPhones, just like Gemini. A key advantage of the integration is cross-device conversation syncing. Users can begin a conversation with Siri AI on their Apple Watch and seamlessly continue it later on their iPhone, iPad or Mac without losing context.

Apple is expected to continue refining Siri AI over the coming beta releases ahead of the stable rollout, which is expected to arrive alongside the Apple Watch Series 12 launch in September 2026.
