Xiaomi held its “Human x Car x Home” event in China today and it saw the debut of the Redmi K80 Extreme Edition. The latest addition to Redmi's 'K' series offers a 144 Hz OLED panel, a 7,410mAh battery, the Dimensity 9400+ processor, and more. Here's a complete specification breakdown of the smartphone along with its pricing and sale details.
Redmi K80 Ultra Specifications and Features
The Redmi K80 Ultra (also known as the Redmi K80 Extreme Edition) features a massive 7,410mAh silicon carbon battery. Xiaomi claims up to 54 hours of battery life and up to 1,600 cycles. It is backed by a 100W wired fast charger and features a dedicated Xiaomi Surge P5 chip for enhanced charging protection.

Coming to the display, the device features a 6.83-inch 12-bit 144 Hz 1.5K OLED Huaxing M9 flat display with up to 3,200 nits of peak brightness. It packs a resolution of 2772 x 1280 pixels, and uses an ultrasonic fingerprint scanner for faster unlocks. Apart from this, there is a dedicated display D2 chip, 100% DCI-P3 coverage, Dolby Vision video playback support and up to 2,560 Hz PWM Dimming frequency.
The display is protected by Dragon Crystal Glass and is part of an 8.18mm aluminium midframe. There is a matte frosted glass panel at the back, which is home to a dual camera setup and the "Redmi" logo at the bottom-left corner.

Speaking of cameras, the K80 Ultra features a dual rear camera setup along with a dual-tone LED flash housed within a top-left circular module. It is home to a 50 MP OV Light Fusion 800 sensor with OIS and auto focus, as well as a second 8 MP OmniVision OV08F ultra-wide lens. At the front, there is a 20 MP OV20B selfie shooter.
For videos, the rear setup can record up to 4K @ 60 FPS footages. Meanwhile, the selfie camera can record up to 1080p @ 60 FPS footages.

Under the hood, the K80 Ultra is powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 9400+ SoC and pairs with up to 16 GB of LPDDR5X RAM and up to 1 TB of UFS 4.1 storage. The chipset is accompanied by a 6500mm2 vapour chamber cooling system for better thermal management.

On the software front, the Redmi K80 Extreme Edition runs on Xiaomi's Hyper OS 2.0 based on Android 15. The operating system has the signature Hyper OS experience along with a ton of nifty AI features like AI Portrait 2.0, Lightning Snap 2.0 and more.
The K80 Ultra also brings an IP68 rating, infrared sensor, Wi-Fi 7 and Bluetooth 5.4. Other connectivity options include dual 5G nano-SIM support, GPS, NFC, stereo speakers and a USB Type-C 2.0 port.
Redmi K80 Ultra Price in China and Availability
The Redmi K80 Extreme Edition starts at 2,599 Chinese Yuan (approximately Rs 32,000) in China for the 12 GB + 256 GB variant. Meanwhile, the top-of-the-line 16 GB + 1 TB variant costs 3,799 Chinese Yuan (approximately Rs 46,000). In between, there's also a 16 GB + 256 GB, 12 GB + 512 GB and a 16 GB + 512 GB variant to choose from.
All the K80 Extreme Edition variants will go on sale starting today, via the Xiaomi China website. Xiaomi is also offering day-one sale benefits to early-bird buyers. It comes in the Spruce Green, Ice Blue, Tsukiiwa White and Sandstone Grey colourways.
