The Xiaomi 18 Fold design was recently unveiled by the brand and now the brand has revealed the design and some key details of the Xiaomi Pad 9 Pro Max.
The Xiaomi Weibo account shared two posts, showing off the Xiaomi Pad 9 Pro Max in what it is calling "rich burgundy." This is a deep wine-red finish applied to what the company describes as a metal unibody with a "runway-shaped" design.
We see a minimal camera module on the back housing a single lens, a flash module and an Xring logo etched into the metal.

Xiaomi has confirmed that the tablet will be powered by the Xring O3 chipset, which was already revealed in an earlier Xiaomi Pad 9 Pro Max Geekbench listing. This is the same chipset that will be powering the Xiaomi 18 Fold as well.
Moving on, up front, Xiaomi confirms a 13.3-inch display for "professional productivity". The panel is surrounded by notably even and thin bezels, with the selfie camera at one of the side edges rather than sitting in a notch or punch-hole.
The same colourway extends to a floating keyboard accessory and a stylus as well. Xiaomi is certainly positioning the Pad 9 Pro Max as its top-tier productivity beast of a tablet.
The brand has also confirmed that the flagship tablet will run on HyperOS 4, which is "built specifically for large-screen productivity."
That said, we don't know anything else about the upcoming Xiaomi Pad 9 Pro Max. However, with the Xiaomi 18 Fold and Pad 9 Pro Max launch date in China scheduled for September 7, 2026, expect the brand to reveal more details in the coming days. So, stay tuned for all the updates!
