How to Merge Call Logs from Other Apps on Samsung Phone

In One UI 9, Samsung added an option to see calls from other apps like Google Meet or WhatsApp within the call history of the Phone app. If you are coming from an iPhone like me, you will feel right at home after turning on this option. However, it is hidden behind a bunch of menus and not that easy to find. But don't worry, I will show you how to merge call logs from other apps in the Samsung Phone app in this guide.

One UI 9 Shows Call Logs From Other Apps

There's a new Other Calling Apps feature in One UI 9 that lets you see call history from other apps in the Phone app on your Samsung device. So, all the calls appear in a single call log, and you don't need to check other apps for any missed calls on the device.

Coming from an iPhone 13, I am used to seeing my WhatsApp calls on the stock dialler app. It makes it easy for me to keep tabs on my call history. But after switching to an Android phone, it felt like a hassle. That is why I am more grateful for this than for any new AI features in One UI 9.

However, this option is available in the One UI 9 update, and hence, it is coming to One UI 9-eligible devices only.

How to Merge Call Logs From Other Apps in Samsung Phone App

The 'Other calling apps' option is typically turned on by default if you are running One UI 9. However, if it isn't, then here's how you can turn it on:

Open the Phone app on your Samsung device and tap the 3-dots icon at the top right.

Open Samsung Phone app and tap 3 dots and select Settings

Select Settings and then tap on Other call settings.
Here, tap on Other call apps.

Go to Other call settings and select Other calling apps

Now, turn on the toggle for every app whose call history you want to see inside the Phone app.

Turn on the toggle next to Whatsapp to see calls from it in the stock Phone app in One UI 9

Now, if you go back to the phone app, you should see a merged log showing calls from third-party apps too.

Which Apps Currently Support Merged Call Logs

As of the current One UI 9 beta update on my Galaxy S26 Ultra, only these apps are supported:

WhatsApp (both voice and video calls)
Google Meet

I tested Telegram, Signal, Facebook Messenger, Discord, Zoom, and Microsoft Teams; they are all missing right now, and there is no confirmation of when or if they will be added.

Why This Small Feature Actually Matters

This is genuinely one of the more hidden and underrated One UI 9 features, and it means the most if you are coming from an iPhone like I am. On iOS, every call, whether it came through the cellular network, WhatsApp, or FaceTime, has always lived in the same call history.

It is such a basic thing that I never thought about it until I switched to Android from an iPhone. Every time I wanted to check a missed call from WhatsApp, I had to open the app itself, but after turning on this feature, I feel more at home now.
