iOS 26.2 Public Beta 2 brings alarms inside Reminders
The latest public beta version comes around two weeks after Apple released the iOS 26.2 Public Beta 1, and it brings all the changes seen in the latest iOS 26.2 Beta 3. This includes the ability to adjust the Liquid Glass transparency for the Lock Screen clock, which can be done using a slider. The build also adds a cool glassy effect to the Level tool inside the Measure app.

As seen on the iOS 26.2 Developer Beta 2, Apple has also added an Urgent reminders feature inside the Reminders app, which allows users to set alarms to know when a task is due for action. Besides these, the latest public beta has codes that show Apple is developing a "Manage Known AirDrop Contacts" feature inside iOS' AirDrop settings. This will let users share files with other people temporarily via AirDrop without saving their number as contacts.
The Games app gets a minor redesign that offers users the ability to sort and filter content inside the Library and Score Updates screen. With the latest public beta, users can also disable pinned messages inside Apple CarPlay to prevent iPhone conversations from being mirrored onto the car display.
Interested testers can install the iOS 26.2 public beta by heading over to Settings > General > Software Update > Update Now. Besides iOS 26.2, Apple has also released the second public beta for iPadOS 26.2, macOS 26.2, watchOS 26.2, tvOS 26.2 and visionOS 26.2.
