Apple's first-ever foldable iPhone Duo has launched and we finally have a price tag. Well, it is slightly less intimidating than early estimates had suggested.
iPhone Duo Price and All Variants
The iPhone Duo starts at Rs 2,99,900 for the 256 GB model. At the other end, the 2 TB version reaches Rs 4,44,900, making the Duo Apple's most expensive iPhone yet.
| Storage | Price |
|---|---|
| 256 GB | Rs 2,99,900 |
| 512 GB | Rs 3,24,900 |
| 1 TB | Rs 3,74,900 |
| 2 TB | Rs 4,44,900 |
This falls in line with the estimated iPhone Duo prices that Bloomberg's Mark Gurman had reported earlier today.
It's quite a bit mor expensive than the iPhone 18 Pro and iPhone 18 Pro Max as well. For context, the iPhone 18 Pro series prices in India start at Rs 1,64,990.
The iPhone Duo is Apple's first major departure from the traditional iPhone design. It unfolds into a 7.76-inch main display with a 4:3 aspect ratio and a near-invisible crease, while a 5.49-inch cover screen handles use when the phone is folded.
Apple has also taken a different approach to biometric authentication. Instead of Face ID, the Duo uses Touch ID built into the power button.
Under the hood, the foldable shares the A20 Pro chipset with the iPhone 18 Pro models. Around the back, there is a dual-camera setup with two 48 MP sensors, although the phone notably does not include a dedicated telephoto camera.
The iPhone Duo will be up for pre-orders from October 16, 2026, and general sales will start from October 23, 2026. Apple is also keeping the launch colours simple, with Night Sky and Star White.
At Rs 2,99,900, the iPhone Duo is certainly expensive, but we did see it coming due to the ongoing RAM crisis. However, the bigger question now is how quickly Apple can make its first foldable available across markets, particularly if supply remains limited.
