Google has officially wrapped up its Made by Google 2026 event with a packed lineup of new hardware and software announcements. The company introduced the Pixel 11 series, including its new Pixel 11 Pro Fold, alongside the Pixel Watch 5 and its first-ever Pixel Tag tracker.
However, the biggest theme of the event was clearly AI. Google is using the new Tensor G6 chip to power a deeper Gemini experience across its latest phones and watch, while also adding several new camera, health and accessibility features. Here's everything Google announced at the event.
Google Pixel 11 Series Launched
The biggest announcement was naturally the Pixel 11 series, which includes the Pixel 11, Pixel 11 Pro, Pixel 11 Pro XL and Pixel 11 Pro Fold.
The standard Pixel 11 gets a slimmer all-glass camera bar, a larger 48 MP main camera and 12 GB of RAM with 256 GB of storage as standard. It also gets 25W Qi2.2 wireless charging and starts at Rs 89,999.
The Pixel 11 Pro and Pixel 11 Pro XL bring more substantial upgrades, including new 50 MP main cameras and redesigned 48 MP telephoto cameras. They support up to 120x Pro Zoom, 5x Portrait Mode and faster Instant Night Sight.
Their Super Actua displays now reach 3,600 nits, while a new coating makes them twice as scratch-resistant as before. The Pro starts at Rs 1,19,999, while the Pro XL starts at Rs 1,34,999.
The biggest change comes with the Pixel 11 Pro Fold. Google's new foldable is thinner and lighter than the Pixel 10 Pro Fold and gets a redesigned hinge, a new composite back and improved durability. Both displays are brighter, with the inner 8-inch panel reaching 3,600 nits. It also gets a new 48 MP main camera, 16 GB of RAM and 256 GB of storage, with pricing starting at Rs 1,86,999.
One of the most distinctive new features is HiLight, which is exclusive to the Pixel 11 Pro, Pro XL and Pro Fold. It uses a ring of LEDs around the rear camera flash to provide visual feedback while the phone is face down.
The LED can display different patterns when Gemini is listening, processing or responding, while favourite contacts can also be assigned custom colours for incoming calls. Google says additional notification functions will be added later.

Tensor G6 Brings Bigger AI and Performance Upgrades
Powering the entire Pixel 11 lineup is Google's new Tensor G6 chipset. The Tensor G6 gets a TPU with 50% more compute and twice the memory bandwidth.
Google says this allows certain on-device AI tasks to run up to 3.5 times faster while consuming up to 3.5 times less energy. The CPU also delivers up to 15% faster app launches and 25% faster web browsing.
The chip is paired with the new Titan M3 security processor, which adds protection against potential future quantum-computing threats. Its upgraded ISP also enables new camera capabilities, including expanded zoom and 4K Bokeh video.

Gemini Intelligence Gets Much More Proactive
Google's other major focus was Gemini Intelligence, which is designed to make the Pixel 11 less dependent on users manually navigating through apps.
Gemini can now surface contextual information across apps and suggest actions based on what you're doing. It can pull up flight details, Maps information, Calendar events, Tasks and Wallet information when relevant. Google is also expanding task automation, allowing Gemini to handle certain bookings and orders and even make calls to businesses.
The company is also introducing Gboard Rambler, which cleans up spoken input by removing filler words and run-on sentences. Live Translate is expanding beyond phone calls to support real-time audio dubbing for videos and podcasts in supported apps.

Pixel Watch 5 Gets New Health and AI Features
Google also launched the Pixel Watch 5, which keeps the overall design of its predecessor but receives several internal upgrades.
It is powered by the Snapdragon W5 Gen 2 Accelerated platform and gets 3GB of RAM and 64GB of storage. Google claims up to 20% faster performance, while GPS accuracy has also been improved.

Health tracking gets a significant boost with features such as Blood Pressure Trends, Insulin Resistance Trends and Breathing Emergency Detection. Sleep tracking is also improved, while new bedtime automations can pause media and silence notifications when the user falls asleep.
The watch also gets deeper Gemini integration, including offline commands, proactive suggestions and At a Glance information such as flight details, boarding passes and transit stops. It starts at $399 for the 41mm model and $429 for the 45mm version.

Google Pixel Tag Finally Takes on AirTag
After years of relying on the Find My Device ecosystem, Google has finally introduced its own dedicated tracker called Pixel Tag.
The pill-shaped tracker works with Google's Find Hub network and can be used to locate items such as keys, wallets and luggage. It supports Bluetooth Channel Sounding and UWB for more precise location tracking, carries an IP67 rating and uses a replaceable CR2032 battery.
The Pixel Tag costs Rs 3,799 for a single unit or Rs 12,900 for a four-pack, with availability starting November 11, 2026.

Google didn't introduce a new pair of earbuds but did update the Pixel Buds Pro 2. The earbuds now come in a new Olive colour, while a software update coming in September will improve noise cancellation by adapting to changes in the earbud seal.

Overall, Made by Google 2026 was less about a hardware redesign and more about Google connecting its latest Pixel devices through Tensor G6 and Gemini Intelligence.
The Pixel 11 lineup brings the biggest changes on the camera and AI fronts, while the Pixel Watch 5 expands on health features and the Pixel Tag finally gives Android users a first-party AirTag alternative. If you ask me, that's a whole lot of stuff to digest until the next one!
