Google has officially announced its newest wearable, the Fitbit Air. It is designed to be a simple, screenless fitness tracker for those who need a lightweight and comfortable everyday device to track their health without the added bulk.
Fitbit Air Specifications and Features
Following the Fitbit app revamp to Google Health and a host of rumours about the device, Google has finally unveiled the Fitbit Air. Instead of a traditional smartwatch, this tiny device is designed to blend into daily life and track your health in the background.

Starting with the design, the Fitbit Air takes inspiration from Whoop's fitness bands, but the main difference is that it's almost half the width of Whoop bands. Fitbit Air arrives in four colours – Obsidian, Lavender, Berry and Fog. There's also a special edition Stephen Curry edition.
The tracker's pebble-shaped housing is made of plastic, while the band is made of textile material with a stainless steel buckle. Coming to the sensors, it features an Optical heart rate monitor, a 3-axis accelerometer + gyroscope, a SpO2 sensor, a temperature sensor and a Haptic motor.

As for the battery life, while Google hasn't revealed the exact capacity, the brand promises 7 days of battery life on a single charge. The charge time is 90 minutes, and Google claims that 5 minutes of charging can give it a full day's worth of juice.
Google is marketing the Fitbit Air with its latest Google Health revamp, a departure from the Fitbit branding. The Air comes with three months of Health Premium subscription for free. The new Health app continues to offer Gemini's personal health coaching and all its usual features.

To reiterate, the Fitbit Air comes in four colours – Obsidian, Lavender, Berry and Fog. The Stephen Curry edition has a Grey colour with orange accents. The band costs $99.99 (approximately Rs 9,000), whereas the limited edition will set buyers $129.99 (approximately Rs 11,500).
