Google's next budget Pixel 11a has sprung up in a new leak and it looks a lot like the last one. The first Pixel 11a renders show a barely changed design, with a fresh purple shade to spice things up.

The renders come from tipster OnLeaks and tech publication Android Headlines, and they show the Google Pixel 11a to be nearly indistinguishable from the Pixel 10a and Pixel 9a. You get the same flush camera design on the back, though the camera island appears to have gone from a longer oval to a shorter one, with the flash still sitting outside it.

The front still has fairly thick bezels, which does make the phone look a little dated. Dimensions are reportedly around 153.46 x 72.35 x 9mm. This is a hair smaller than the Pixel 10a's 153.9 x 73 x 9mm measurements. That may mean your old Pixel 10a case won't fit, or might?
Colour-wise, the Pixel 11a is said to come in black, silver, green and purple colour options. The renders show a deeper purple than Google's earlier attempts, like the pale shade on the Pixel 3a and the periwinkle Iris on the Pixel 9a.

The bigger story is what's on the inside. The Pixel 11a is reportedly moving up to the Tensor G6, the same chipset as the Pixel 11 series. This is important because the Pixel 10a stuck with the older Tensor G4.
Moving on, Google is expected to pair the Tensor G6 with a MediaTek modem in place of a Samsung one and a Titan M3 security chipset. Apart from this, the leak suggests that the phone will sport 8 GB of RAM and a battery around the 5,000mAh mark.
The latest report also suggests that the phone will feature the same 6.3-inch 1080p display with a peak brightness bump to 3,350 nits, up from 3,000 nits.
On the camera side, expect the familiar 48 MP main lens and 13 MP ultrawide shooter, with no telephoto and possibly a new selfie camera. Moreover, as is the norm with Google Pixel phones, seven years of major OS updates are expected and the phone will most likely run on Android 17 out of the box.
This is not the first time we are hearing of these details though, as it falls in line with a previous Google Pixel 11a specs leak.

The Pixel a-series has held at $499 (approx. Rs 48,000) for years, but the Pixel 11 lineup got a $100 price hike this year amid the RAM crisis. Going by that, the latest leak suggests that the Pixel 11a price starting at $559 (approx. Rs 54,000) wouldn't be shocking.
Apart from this, we can expect Google to launch the Pixel 11a sometime in February or March 2027, with sales starting a few weeks after.
While the Pixel 11a looks more of the same on the outside, the proper chipset upgrade might make it the most meaningful a-series jump in years. The real question ultimately is what will Google charge for it?
