Google has started teasing its next Pixel Drop update, slated to go official by June end. This will be the first major Pixel feature release after the Google I/O 2026 event and is expected to bring a lot of new Gemini AI capabilities as well as region-specific features.
Google Teases June Pixel Drop Features
The report comes from tech publication Droid Life, which managed to spot two new teaser videos on Amazon, teasing the June 2026 Pixel Drop feature release. After the March 2026 Pixel Drop, the upcoming release is going to be the first major update pushed to Pixel phones after Google I/0 2026.

The first major addition is Screen Reactions as it was teased last month at the Android Show 2026 edition and only recently released via the Android 17 QPR1 Beta 4 update. It is intended to help users to add their selfie overlay on their screen recordings and move it around effortlessly.
The next is Music Generation and Gemini Omni, which were both showcased at Google I/O 2026 and are already available to Google AI Pro and AI Ultra subscribers in the USA. With Music Generation, users will be able to give Gemini a prompt to get AI-generated short music clips for royalty-free usage.
As for Gemini Omni, it is Google’s latest native multimodal AI model designed to understand, reason across and generate different media types like texts, images, audio and video. It gives users a single unified place to use Gemini's multimodal AI capabilities.
Aside from that, there are no other features mentioned for the June 2026 Pixel Drop. We could see more features arrive to Pixel phones when the final stable Android 17 update releases, either later this month or early July 2026. So, stay tuned.
